Andreas Pakszies

In 1987 has graduated from the University of Hamburg with a degree in Engineering in Aerospace Engineering.
His career started in August 1987 as an Aircraft engineer at Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg.
After various section management positions, he took over the initiation and development of a lean initiative in Aircraft Maintenance at Lufthansa Technik AG in Frankfurt, Munich, and German line stations in 2002.
In 2006 he took over the position as a Director for Aircraft Systems Engineering at Lufthansa Technik GmbH in Frankfurt.
From 2012 he worked as a Director for the German Line Maintenance network at Lufthansa Technik AG in Düsseldorf.
In 2014 he moved to the United States, where he took the position of Senior Program Manager the responsibility for a company at Lufthansa Technik North America in Auburn, Maine.
In 2017 he was appointed as Vice President for line maintenance at Lufthansa for the hubs Frankfurt and Munich and all worldwide maintenance locations
In 2020 he was additionally appointed as Vice President for Fleet Services at Lufthansa Technik
From 2017 to 2020 he additionally took responsibility as a board member of Lufthansa Technic’s Lean Manufacturing Academy with marketing for the academy and reviewing quality standards.
In 2017 he was appointed to the position of the chairman of the supervisory board of the company LEOS
In 2019 and 2020 he was a member of the supervisory board of Lufthansa Technik
In 2021, he was appointed General Director of Wagonservice JSC.
