JCS «Wagonservice» was created by the order of JSC«Passenger transportation» from
11.02.2004 №58, in accordance with the restrcucturing program on the railway transport, approved by Government of Republic of Kazakhstan from 6 february 2004 № 145.
The holder of 100% shares is JSC «Passenger transportation»
In 2004, the restructuring of support and service activities was carried out, which was aimed at separating it from the main one in order to ensure transparency of expenses and targeted subsidies for passenger traffic from the republican and local budgets.
As part of the restructuring program, work was carried out on the creation of six joint-stock companies: “Almaty Coaches Repair Plant”, “Vokzal-Service”, “Suburban Transportation”, “Baggage Transportation”, “Passenger Leasing Coaches Company”, “Vagonservice”; Limited Liability Partnership “Zholserik-Almaty” (in 2005, renamed to Limited Liability Partnership “Company” Zholaushylartrans “).
According to the decision of the Board of Directors of Passenger Transportation Joint-Stock Company, dated July 04, 2016, protocol №4, Passenger Leasing Coaches Company Joint-Stock Company was reorganized by joining Vagonservice Joint-Stock Company.

The basic types of activities are:

– Depot repair;
– Теchnical service in the volume of в ТS-1 – теchnical service of coaches before each departure at the point of formation, at the point of turnover and on the route;
– Теchnical service in the volume of ТS-2 (теchnical service of coaches before starting of summer and winter transportation);
– Теchnical service in the volume of ТS-3 (united technical audit, which is executed not more than 6 months after planned type of repair, construction or previous audit);
– Current uncoupling repair (with uncoupling of coaches from rolling stock), which is executed to change wheelsets, automatic coupling and other knots);
– Equipping coaches with fuel and water;
– Providing coaches for rent;
– Vaccum track cleaning of coaches.
